What is Nutrition Coaching?

You have most likely come across this page because you are interested in changing your body composition, improving your health, performance, or recovery and may want to find that life balance everyone wants – the ability to be able to manage your day to day lifestyle habits which maintain and promote health and wellbeing (including diet, exercise & the alcohol!)

What if I told you – ”You can achieve your goals” and better yet, by eating foods and drinks you enjoy.

First Consultation

Consultation can be conducted either in person (in the Lancashire area) or via telephone, skype or email 

A free 15 minute consultation will begin our journey.

With a conversation I will be able to get an idea of your individual or group requirements, lifestyle, and goals.

Are you looking to improve your health, well being, or your athletic training?
Are you looking to increase you or your workplaces awareness on how they to improve health and wellbeing?
Are you looking to shift a couple of pounds? OR put on a couple of pounds of muscle?
Are you looking to structure your diet around your athletic training or looking to improve your diet for recovery purposes?
Do you just want to be able to enjoy the foods you love within a non-restrictive diet?

From the information you give me, I will then be able to suggest the best option available to you.

Nutrition Coaching

This service is ideal for anyone looking to lose weight, gain lean muscle mass, improve health, performance and/or recovery. You will be required to complete a lifestyle questionnaire – which helps me to help you to be able to reach your goals. Take the guesswork out of your nutrition today!

The questionnaire used will examine you and your needs, individually. It will take into account all your unique family history, health history, environment, current diet, and your lifestyle (movement, exercise, job etc.). 

 I will be able to help you focus on your goals, helping you to become take charge to achieve with evidence-based recommendations which will be personalised to your lifestyle and your goals.

Check Ins/Meetings And Support

Follow up consultations will give us an opportunity to look at changes you are making, discussing any potential problems that you may have with the recommendations and making changes to them, allowing you to continue  to reach your goals.

Workplace Services

Nutritional workshops which are tailored to your workplace, which cover particular topics in depth can be provided.

A drop in or booked nutritional service for one-on-one evidence-based advice where individuals can have any questions that they may have answered or have their body mass index (BMI) checked can be arranged.

Nutritional Analysis

For analysis, a food diary, that lists everything that you eat and drink over a number of days will need to be completed to allow a detailed report that provides your current macronutrient (carbohydrate, fat and protein) and/or micronutrient (vitamins and minerals).

 

The nutritional composition of your diet is important as surpluses/deficiencies of macro and micronutrients can effect your health.
