Meet Your Coach

Hi, my name is Lauren and I was first diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 years old. I have had to understand how to properly control and manage my condition, to prevent poor health and complications (e.g. damages to the nerves, eyes, feet etc.). Help with this was provided mostly by family, and some healthcare professionals as I grew up, and good nutritional habits and lifestyle has supported my current good health status and helped me to be able to properly manage and control my health condition.
